music of the blowing wind to keep him company,
his body is tired, bent and broken
he wonders if he has yet been forgiven..
for she is his life, his strength, his all
but when unkind words are spoken love is not enough
Heart, heavy with guilt and regret, still he hopes
that his feelings will suffice,
that she has decided to make another sacrifice
he'd like to lie with her again;
longing turns to misery turns to pain
as a calming breeze blows over his face
the shade seems like an oasis; just like her mind
Her words, her hands, her shy smile
he misses her comforting embrace..
