Innocent Bones

Seamless mind, it may seem
That the stones of thought cannot touch thee
But truth be told, there is much to learn
And a stone is the stepping step to being free

Immortal heart with love unbounded
Landlocked, as such, by pictures and words
No river flows through it or from it anymore
Someone should save you from sinking into nothingness

See your life through a glass case
Rainbows form, all illusion, nonetheless
Happiness is abound, does it seem, does it seem
That your heart is but a bird and your mind, its retreat

Dream on, soldier, for dreams, they tell the truth
They rip out the core of every rational thought
And present to you in simple terms, without
The trappings of the world and all its folly.
