Plea / Provocation

Go ahead..

Wear your Mask
Avoid all Influences
of weathering and polishing
and Die without having lived.

She and her were floating on clouds
of ice, and when their eyes met
their souls met, and danced
intertwined like the necks of swans

colours merged and figures faded
smoke and fire were created
jet blue streams of lust invaded
deepest darkest depths illuminated

every curve of the corpses
vulgar, undesirable, ugly; lit
with a glow of life from within
from head to heel, from cheek to cheek,

a distant fantasy, a secret dream
lay exposed, naked, vulnerable
terror flooding the eyes of these
unwitting amateur irrationals

a melting pot of vitality engulfs
the sensual curves of sanity
hold up the curtains, dim down the lights
she flows back into anonymity

Mean Mr. Mustard

Hey Postman Uncle, what do you have for me today?
Postman Uncle, isn't it a lovely day?
I like your tan-brown uniform
and the weirdly-shaped hat you have on
Grandma's inside, she's old and tired
so she sent me to the veranda to sign

I feel like a big girl, signing for things!
Will you let me practice my handwriting?
Hey, wait, what are you doing down there?
That hurts, but I'll pretend I didn't feel it and don't care.
Here's your pen back, Postman Uncle, be on your way
I'm a little confused, but I hope you have a lovely day.
